Hello, I Need to find out how to test P/N WP8318268 for a Maytag MEDC700WV0 dryer. Any suggestions?

The two silver outside connectors are the thermostat's contacts. They should be 0 ohms (closed) at room temperature.

Thanks a lot for the fast response. Is there a reading for the inside contacts?

I do not have a wiring diagram for this unit but they are usually in the 5000 to 10000 ohm range.
It is an internal heater used during lower temperature settings.

There are many other reasons why a dryer will not heat.
Often folks tear a unit apart checking everything in the dryers heating circuit only to find out later it was a power problem so hopefully you checked that first.
