In the last month the dishwasher lights would come on and off. When they were on we could run it. Now the lights don't turn on at all it is appears not to have power. I've read some forums that point to the Control Panel. Is there any testing I can do verify this is the problem before purchasing the part?
Check the tech sheet located behind the bottom kick panel. This sheet should have the information on testing the touchpad. We generally find that testing the touchpad with an ohm meter is very difficult and it doesn't always provide conclusive results. If you aren't able to get a good reading on if the touchpad is good or bad then we recommend to start by replacing the touchpad control panel as this is the most common part to fail. If the problem still persists with the new touchpad installed then you may also need to replace the control board. Let us know what you find.
