GE side by side fridge not working

Last week we notice that our water dispenser was not dispensing water. A few days later the ice machine would work intermitently and eventually not at all. a few days after that the freezer stopped working along with the entire refrigerator. LIghts work in fridge but top control panel in fridge is out. Please help. should I order a new mother board or a freezer door control pannel or both? could it just be coincidental that the ice maker failed first and then the entire fridge?

The ice maker will stop working when the freezer warms up because it is not cold enough to continue making ice, so that is normal. Is the refrigerator or freezer cooling at all, or is it at room temperature?
