my dishwasher wont start after closing door , replaced the upper touch screen thinking it was worn out but same issue , any other way of diagnosing this issue

Try running he diagnostics.
With a meter check that both door switches close when the door is closed.

how do i run diagnostics and where are the 2 switches located , i guess one being the door latch the other???

The diagnostics are on page 2 f the wiring diagram (Water/Service Test)

Both switches are on the latch assembly in the door

tried diagnostic test , would not start any function , possible latch not seeing door closed????

I cannot say so just check them.
If they are closed when the door is latched then probably the control board is bad.
