Bottom arm not spinning

Bottom arm of washer not moving when running dishwasher. I can spin it easily by hand.

First check that the unit is getting enough water during the fill.
Most units fill to just under the heating element.

You could also add hot water to it after it fills just be careful to not overfill it.

If the fill is OK then check/clean the filters in the unit.

Is it the bottom or top arm that doesn't spin for a half-load? Could be something to do with that setting
