Bosch dishwasher will not start

My Bosch SHS5AV55UC/22 will not start. This began the other day when the machine was not in operation and my son heard 3 distinct popping sounds coming from it. He walked over to it and tried to turn it on but it did nothing. I have since checked the breaker panel and the panel had not tripped. I pulled the machine out today and it has power to tghe power box/panel where the house current is attached to the machine. However nothing works. I have tried doing the reset by pushing and holding the reset button. Nothing works. There are no lights displayed on the control panel nor any noises coming from it. I have not been able to find any repair help concerning this particular model. Does anyone have any suggestions where to start. I am going to take the door apart to lok for a thermal fuse but not sure where it may be or if i should be looking elsewhere for a solution.
