Whirlpool frnh door- replaced control board, programmed, still not ooling

We bought this 3 years ago.

Recently, the house was vaant and then renovations were done powering the house with a generator. I believe the surges from the generator fried the ocntrol board.

I installed a new control board and following the programming instructions i found here, i got it to work, the fans came on, et.

But after several hours there is no cooling.

I'm thinking the same power surges smoked the compressor as well?

What else an i check?
