Frigidaire wall oven sometimes wont light

Brand: Frigidaire
Age: More than 10 years

When the wall oven wont light the igniter glows but the gas valve wont open until I tap it with a wooden spoon. Im guessing gas valve is going bad. Part # is 3203702. Ive checked many sites and the valve is $280.00 and up. Why so much when some gas valves are $30.00 to $40.00? Is there a cheaper alternative?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to check to make sure it is the gas valve? Could it be the igniter? All help is appreciated.
