At any drying mode dryer goes into cooling mode after two minutes. Have tried running it with gas switched off but same results. Removed the exhaust hose and ran it but same results. Would appreciate any suggestions/ help in fixing it. Using flexible hose which is less than 1.5 ft long.
Reading on some of the related threads I tested the dryer in Timed Drying mode. It works in this mode. I also tried cleaning the two dry sensor strips with rubbing alcohol as well as fine scrubber. But that did not solve the original problem of dryer going into cooling stage after two minutes in the “SENSOR DRY” mode.Quote:

I cannot find any tech info on this unit.
Open it up and see if the tech sheet is stored inside.
Cleaning the strips would fix a running too long problem not your problem.
The way the sensors work is that when the clothes are wet there is moisture between the strips.
This allows a small current to flow between them.
The board senses this and keeps the dryer heating.
When the clothes are dry there is no moisture so no current and the dryer moves tocool down.
Sounds like the board is not seeing the current/moisture between the strips.
Could be one of the connectors has come off a strip or there is an open wire between the stripd and the control board or the control board is bad.
I have the same gas dryer mine is 9 years old. It worked fine until I had to move it in order to fix the washer, since then no heat in any mode.
