The board is located behind the control panel (keyboard).
Yes it may be worth it to try and get the board repaired.
Problem is that I would feel better about this if there was tech info on the...
I cannot find any tech info on this unit.
Yes it does sound like a control board problem which unfortunately is no longer available.
I am not sure that the unit is actually activating the cold and hot fill valves during diagnostics.
See page 45 for the valves.
Mode 3 says it activates the bleach valve
Mode 4 says it activates...

Try the diagnostics

Since the compressor runs after unplugging the unit my guess is that the...
I think we all are.
Should depend on what connectors you are using to test.
Common to one connector is the fill contacts re: they are closed with no water in the unit / open when full.
Common to...
A model number would be useful.
No this does not mean that the switch needs replacing.
I am assuming you mean zero ohms re: a short.
Also use the 200 ohm scale not the diode checking mode.
...
Yes it does sound like a motor problem.
As far as I know the bearings in the motor are not replaceable, at least I cannot find a part number for them.
So you may have to replace the motor.

You are welcome.
Hopefully your new parts will fix the unit.
Now this has me stumped.
My best guess is that there are two problems.
1. The board is reading the actual temperature incorrectly. Also the diagnostics not running points to a control board...
Sorry that is the best I can do.
Perhaps try Googling "kitchenaid oven door glass repair" and see if you can find a video that shows what you need.

I agree with you but then you should not see any voltage going to the compressor.
I cannot find much info on this unit so I am not sure how it is plumbed.
I looks like a dual evaporator unit some...

Sounds like a control board problem.
Also may be the centrifugal switch.
...
I am not sure why you are looking at the door switch.
Your check at connector 72 and the clicking at the compressor shows that it is getting power.
It sounds like it is over heating the...
Did you check the power?
Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
Check the voltage at the wall...
Do not remove the blower wheel.
Often the wheels seize to the motor shaft and the only way to get them off is to destroy them.
Hold the motor shaft with vice grips or pliers and then try to move...
Yes I also doubt that it would be a voltage problem.
Check that the holes at the back of the dryer drum are clean. Sometimes fabric softener residue can build up on them reducing their size and...

It is "Electric Slide-In Range JES..."
First I would unplug the unit and...
You will have to open it up and check.
My guess is that the idler wheel was squeaking and finaly seized.
This then broke the belt.
So now the broken belt switch is not activated (open) and...
I am not sure why you think the roller has too much friction.
There are thousands of these out there and this is the first time I have seen this complaint other than old units where the...
