I cleaned the connectors and replaced the wire/connections and checked continuity. Now we're getting heat again.
As for the heat cycle...When I set it on Extra Low it does seem...

I also dropped the thermostat on the concrete floor in the process. :mad:
It still is passing the continuity test but I can hear something moving around when I gently shake it. Anyone know if that...

I just took out the heating element. The frame was cracked in the middle. Just enough for the coil to drop down and weld itself to the support frame.
Guess I'll order...

Not exactly sure what you mean by measuring across the heater. But I took the dryer back apart and was getting continuity between the element terminals and the canister.
