    Unhappy Bellows Issue

    Model Number: WM1814CW
    Brand: LG
    Age: 6-10 years

Fitted a new set of bellows on my LG washer. with in 2 Wash cycles it had rubbed a hole in the bellows. Fitted another set and did the same tonight.. No issues with Washer prior to fitting bellows they we moldy thats why i replaced them. Any ideas would be helpful as i am starting to get frustrated at this washer.... Followed the instructions on how to change them online step by step... The bellows appear to be wider at the bottom of the washer and look like they are rubbing on the drum in the spin cycle.

    John,

If the bellows is the correct part for your model, and it is installed correctly onto the machine then you should not have any issues. Does the washer sound noisy during the spin cycle? Is there any play in the inner tub, up down left or right?
