Hi All,
Ok, time to ask the experts some crazy questions.
I have a Landmann Propane smoker that I'm going to convert to natural gas. That part is easy.
It has an 18,000 BTU burner.
I want to add a thermostat to it so that the temperature inside the smoker remains consistant even when the outside weather changes.
In the forum link listed below, the gentleman shows how he added a GE WB20K10013 thermostat and a WB19K10008 pilot & thermocouple or WB16K10061 without the burner.
He claims that he can regulate the temperature from 140 degrees up to 350 degrees.
For most things, I want to be able to cook at 225 degrees for long periods of time, even overnight.
Will this thermostat do the job or is there something else that you know of that may work better?
