Was the dryer running when it got wet and stopped working? Did anything on the dryer get wet?

If the dryer was working ok before this happened, then I would look over anything that got wet or was changed since this happened. Check that the power cord and outlet were both wired correctly (you can have 220v at the outlet, but if the cord on the dryer isn't hooked up correctly, then the dryer wont run). You should get 220v from both hot sides and 110v from each hot side to ground. As far as things on the dryer that could cause it not to run, it could be the timer, motor, thermal fuse, door switch, start switch, or possibly something else? The terminal block would only need to be replaced if something is bad on it. They usually go bad from not being wired properly, or from not putting the strain relief on the power cord and one or more of the wires burns off of the terminal block.

Let us know what you find.
