I have a Kitchen Aid KSRS25RVMK03 refrigerator which has a Whirlpool W10190960 ice maker. The ice maker overflows. I have tried:
1) Replacing the ice maker. The new ice maker also overflows.
2) I ran a couple of cycles by connecting the ice maker and manually filling the ice tray. I then caught the water coming out of the ice maker valve in a jar. The valve allow 13-14 oz of water for each of three cycles. Once the water stop, it did not drop. The cubes did freeze and eject.
3) I checked the line voltage. This is where it gets interesting. I measured the voltage between black and white on the connector and it measured 88V. Between black and tan, I got 44V. The input voltage to the refrigerator is 122V. Shouldn't the input voltage on bk-wh be 122V.
My water pressure is between 40-60 psi running off a well. I am trying to determine if the new ice maker is defective or if I need a new valve or if the voltage is the issue.
