Snapping Control (JAZZ) Board for Jenn Air Refrigerator

    Model Number:
    Brand:
    Age:

I bought a control board for my jenn air refrigerator and the board is a jazz board and is fully assembled. The instructions say to snap board at break line utilizing proper ESD procedures. I have run my knife over the break line, but am afraid of breaking something, since board cost me $132, today. Can anyone help this novice?

You can snap the control board just by bending it at the line as if you were trying to fold it in half at that point. Proper ESD procedures is grounding yourself so static electricity doesn't ruin the new control board. This should always be done when working with control boards.
