Green wire when installing a new Wr55x10942 main board

I replaced the main board on my fridge due to 2 blown caps on the main board it self. I got a new board WR55X10942. the instructions say to cut the green wire if you have a capacitor. I do have a starter cap on my compressor. but my wires are not like the ones in the instructions. I have W,B,G. the picture shows W,W,G,B,B. also I do NOT have the " capacitor plastic housing" they show in the picture. My wires just come from the main power cord, and the go into the starter cap and overload relay on the side of the compressor. . also my green wire has a yellow tracer and they say nothing about that. my wire is just a ground, should I cut it??? fridge model number pfs22sisbss
