Ge jbp76g broiler not getting hot enough

    Model Number: JBP76G V3WW
    Brand: GE
    Age: More than 10 years

My broiler only gets warm, not hot enough to broil. It happened a while ago. Last week my bake element burnt in half so I ordered both elements and replaced them. The bake element works ok now. Broiler still does not get hot enough.
What else should I look at.

When the old bake element burnt in half, it could have shorted out against the oven frame and ruined the control board. To check for which part is bad you would have to make some voltage checks to see if the control board is working or not. This involves working with live electricity, so depending on your skill level you may want to have a professional take a look at it.
