[FIXED] Dryer heat turn off after 10 minutes

Age: 6-10 years

My dryer works normal for the first 10 minutes than the heat is off. The fan and drum is turning without heat. I have to let it sits for about 30 minutes than it works for another 10 minutes. I have cleaned all the way from the lint filter, blowing motor fan ducts to the outside exhaust; but the problem is still the same. I wonder what else could I do or replace to bring this back to work.

These are common symptoms that we see on gas dryers when the gas coils on the gas valve start to fail and get weak. I would recommend to start by replacing these. Let me know if it takes care of your problem.

Thank you. The Gas Valve Coil Set did the trick. It is back to normal after I replaced this part.
