Age: 6-10 years
The dryer dries but the timer does not move. I replaced the timer but it still doesn't work. The dryer just runs in the same position until I open the door or turn the dryer off.

Looking at the schematic for your dryer, it looks like the dryness control board also controls the timer motor on your model dryer. It tells the timer when to advance. If that is bad, it could also cause the timer not to advance. The dryness control board is part number 33002389.

I replaced the dryness control board but the condition did not change. Any other suggestions? Thanks
Does it advance on the timed dry cycle?

It does not advance on any cycle.
It doesn't look like there is much else in the system that relates to the timer motor. I would make sure you purchased the correct timer, I show it is part number 33002676. I would also make sure that all of the wires were hooked up to the timer correctly in the right places. I would also do a voltage test at the outlet to make sure you have proper power coming to the dryer. I would do an inspection of the wiring in the dryer to make sure there are no broken or burned wires anywhere. I would also do a voltage test at the timer motor to see if the timer motor is getting power when it is supposed to be advancing.
I would also inspect the moisture sensor inside the dryer, they are not common to go bad, but it does connect to the control board.
