my dishwasher is throwing the uo code. through this forum I was directed to check the vent assembly. When I attempt to start a cycle the vent attempts to actuate 5 times and then stops at which time the uo code is given on the display. It appears to me that the vent is actually opening as I was able to visually confirm such by removing the cover and beginning the cycle. Is this normal for a defective vent?

I received the fan assembly in less than 2 days, shipping was quicker than the reply to my initial inquiry. Anyways, the diagnosis was right on, $80.00 and a little time my dishwasher is up and running again. Thanks for your help.
