    Frigidaire Stove Display Not Working

    Model Number: FEF352AWF
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: 6-10 years

    Hi,
I was using the oven tonight, heard a loud POP, and found the power to be out to the unit. It had thrown the breaker, so I reset that. The burners work fine and the light is on in the oven, but nothing on the center display panel is working. From reading other posts on this forum I'm wondering if the control panel would have to be replaced.
Could you give me your thoughts on what the problem would likely be and tell me roughly what the cost of parts would be? Thank you.

I would first recommend to unplug the range and inspect the wiring on the back of the stove and look for an burned or broken wires. I would also do a visual inspection of the bake and broil elements as sometimes when one of the elements burns out it will short out and burn out the control board. If both of those things look good then you most likely have a bad control board. Let me know what you find.

This is the control board and overlay for your model range:

    Oven Control Board - 316207511

    Touchpad Overlay (Black) - 316220805

Thanks for the tips. Elements look fine but I did find this burnt gem. Don't know what it is, or what it means, but I found it. LOL (Why couldn't my ex have been an appliance repairman instead of an auto mechanic?) I appreciate your help and advice. Please let me know how to proceed. Thanks.

The burn marks around the light bulb receptacle is pretty normal on these ranges. If you examine it closer, it is usually just residue that can be wiped off because the light receptacle is usually made from something like ceramic that cannot burn. This is most likely not relating to the problem you are having with the oven.
