slow spin, does not go to high spin

    Model Number: wcsr2090g4ww
    Brand: GE
    Age: 1-5 years

Toploader...Is not the pump, not the lid switch, drive belt good, agitator works, timer seems to be ok???. Washer will drain completely, but only a very slow tub spin, and clothes are still soaked. Tub spins freely when rotated by hand in either direction. No strange noises from machine other than the pump running, motor. Any ideas on the problem?

See the attached PDF below. This has information on testing the motor inverter board for error codes. Let me know what you find.

Well Doc, I was finally able to get back to the washer. What I found out was that the led blinks 9 times for a 6 second period. I assume the maximum spin speed is limited to 50 RPM as stated in the files you had sent me. So it's pointing to the motor. We will probably go with a new washer since a new motor is about $240.00 and a used washer is about the same. Thanks for the assistance. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback on what you found. Sorry it wasn't the best news, those GE washer motors with the inverter boards on them are not cheap
