We have been having a problem with the freezer getting too cold and the refrig section too warm. Ice was forming in the back wall and also some along the top edge of the front of the door. Was not a clogged drain line issue. Called tech today and he said the fan was not operating at full capacity when checked. Plugged in new fan, same result, running at slow speed. Yet when he re-assembled it, the fan started running at full speed. He said that indicates a problem with the main control panel. Do you agree? We are waiting a few days to see if we continue to have this issue. If we do, we can order the part on-line for about half what the appliance repair company charges. It looks like you just plug in 3 sets of wires at the top and two at the bottom. Is this easy enough to do? Any advice is appreciated...!!!
