Samsung Dryer won't heat.

Dryer (6 yrs old) quit heating - I replaced the heating element, Part # DC47-00019A and the dryer still isn't heating. Do I need to replace the thermostat or what else could be causing it to not heat? I vacuumed & cleaner out everything I could of lint as I replaced the heating element.

There are quite a few things that can cause these dryers not to heat. Do you have an ohm meter or multimeter you will have to test some parts for continuity to see if they are bad.

With the dryer unplugged, you will want to remove the two thermostats on the side of the heating element and check them for continuity. There is also one other thermostat to check for continuity by the blower fan, make sure not to confuse this with the thermistor.
