    Range induction cook top dead

    Model Number: FGES3065KFA
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: 1-5 years

    Hello all-
I have a 2009 slide-in 30" Frigidaire Gallery with an induction cooktop of which is now dead. All of the burners quit working at the same time. When I turn any of the 4 burner knobs, nothing happens. The rest of the range functions properly (timer/oven/clock/warming drawer/light/oven lock). They worked perfectly one night while cooking dinner, and then the next morning they were all dead. There were no error codes or audible alarms over night when this occurred. The range actually has just a little over a year of usage even though it is a 2009 (bought at garage sale in 2010, previous owners used for 2 months, we just put it in remodeled kitchen last April). It's a direct wire and we haven't had any problems with it before this. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thank you!

Do the LED displays above the burner knobs turn on?

There are mutliple curcuit boards that work together, and it sounds like one of them is bad if the displays are not lighting up at all. Depending on your skill level, you may want to have a profession diagnose the problem.

I sent you a PM with a link to download the service manual for your range. Let us know what you find as the cause of the problem.
