Freezer Gasket not sealing - - are Part numbers universal?

New house I bought came with Kenmore bottom-mount refrigerator and the freezer gasket is not sealing and apparently needs to be replaced. Based on research at the Sears website, appears part is 12550101Q. PartsDr price is better than Sears site, but is it the exact same part that Sears is offering? I just want to make sure the part I receive will work as a replacement... common sense says 12550101Q is the same part everywhere, but I'm just confirming before ordering.
