    Whirlpool Duet bellows replacement problem

    Model Number: GHW9250MTO
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 6-10 years

My washer was leaking and we discovered a torn bellows. I ordered the prescribed part and when I was installing it, I discovered that there is not a small hole on the top like there was on the original bellows. There is a black rubber hose that was hooked to the original at the top separate from the tube that is white hard plastic. On the new bellows, there is a dot in the place where it looks like the black rubber hose would attach. Should I poke a hole to put the rubber hose through? Do I need to order a different part alotogether?

What part number did you order for the gasket?
