Promblem with installing new heating element

    Model Number: GEW9200lW1
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 6-10 years

Replaced heating element with Whirlpool PD00002365 and was unable to get the element in all the way. Any suggestions as to how to get it to fit in correctly? The heating box may be slightly warped. Thanks. yatzeecat

Sometimes the heating element can take a good amount of force to push into the heater box. If the heating element won't go all of the way in, you could try removing the element and making sure it is aligned correctly. If it is still not going in then you can try removing the heater box from the dryer, and that might help you get the element installed.
