Frigidare Oven not working, stove top still working! HELP!!

Hello Parts Dr. ;

Our Frigidaire Oven ( model FEFL79ECC) decided to go on the "fritz" The stove top still works but the clock and timer are not functioning. What is going on? This is ceramic top unit.
Any ideas on what parts we might need to get this oven back in working order?

One of the digits in your model number is incorrect. Can you please double check the three letters after the 79 for me? Does the clock timer light up and respond when you press the buttons?

No Sir- it does not.

Usually when the clock timer control board doesn't even turn on or light up and the top burners still work, it is usually a bad control board. First, unplug the stove and remove the back panels. Inspect the wiring and control board for any burn marks or broken wires. If everything checks out, then I would replace the control board. Note, the control board does not include the overlay so you will need to reuse the old overlay or order a new one. Let us know how the repair goes.
