kenmore oasis washer lights would not come on installed a new control board and now light come on and power comes on and off. But when you press start nothing happens any help

Are there any error codes that show up? Does the washer make any noises? Do all of the user interface buttons seems to work ok?

the board that has the timer numbers on it as well as the buzzard indicator the one that is a long board not the one that has a case around it I think it is called the motor control board, and no codes but the door will not lock and there is no noise just as if no power

It sounds like the other control board might be bad. Usually if the door lock is not working properly, it will come up with a door lock error code. Maybe you had a power surge that burned out multiple components?
