My Samsung RS265TDRS refrigerator stopped pumping water to the ice maker. The water dispenser is working fine though. I read a lot of posts here and other sites to troubleshoot it. If I pour water in the ice maker it will freeze and dispense ice normally but I can't get anything else from it. I was able to pick up a replacement water valve locally but that didn't solve the issue. I get terrific water pressure from the drinking water but nothing still from the ice maker.
Any thoughts on the next step? I'll try anything at this point. Not sure if it's likely to be a bad ice maker since it does work when I manually put water in it or if it's more likely to be a problem with the control board. Could there be blockage in the water line somewhere between the water control valve and the ice maker? Its not frozen at the outlet I did check that.
Any thoughts would be appreciated...this has now become personal!
