Samsung Dryer Won't Power On - Please Advice DV520AEP/XAC

I hope some expert could advice me on how I should approach on buying parts for repair :

Last time it was used : I barely use the dryer , but one time I put on large load of duvet and sheet at a rush (i selected extra dry as well). without checking the lint tray(my fault) .
It went drying for few hours, I opened the door without pausing it . the LCD screen shows "Error Service Required" However I closed the door again, the error is gone and start spinning again . It completed the cycle without any issues, then I turn the dryer off , but I did feel that the dryer was hotter than usual . Few days later, I tried turning on the dryer, it has no indication of power at all .


My attempt to fix it :
1) try resetting the breaker
2) test if any power at the dryer with Ohm meter , there is
3) Open the lower bottom part, check all fuses . they seems fine
4) Open the top part , took out the Main Board , Control Board . Can not identify any burn marks. Only thing I could see bit of darkening is the Main Board Fuse. However the fuse connection still intact.

I have never worked on these digital control dryer before , with my old dryers , it was mainly thermal fuse or hi-temp fuse . I have asked around , most said that it shouldn't be fuses or am I missing something else ? like relay , door sensor ..etc ?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

What was the voltage at the dryer? It will need to be 220-240v to operate correctly. There are two fuses on this dryer, one on the side of the heating element and one on the blower housing. Make sure that both of those are good. Check for a broken belt and/or the broken belt switch. Look for any burned or broken wires on the dryer. If those things check out, then your problem is most likely caused by one of the control boards going bad. The main control board is the most common control board to go bad, the user interface control board does not fail very often. There were two main control board that Samsung used on your model dryer. To make sure you order the correct main control board, you should get the part number from the sticker on your existing main control board.

Would those fuse stop dryer from turning on ? I checked the belt, it looks fine .

On this dryer it looks like it should still turn on even if one of the fuses is blown. If the power supply to the dryer is good and you have power going to the main control board then I would start by replacing the main control board.

The main control board for model DV520AEP/XAC is either DC92-00322J or DC92-00322A. You will need to look at the tag on your existing control board that lists this part number to see which one is correct for your dryer.

The sticker tag says 20100807 F 0243 00322A-DY1B and on the PCB engraved with DC41-00142A 10.02.03

I swap the main board , still no luck . Would it be the door switch ?

The dryer should still be able to power on even if the door switch is bad. Has the dryer been working at all in the last 10 months?

the dryer was not working for awhile , I am not sure if I should buy the sub board , even the original main board has no burn mark on it .

I just did another test on voltage 121/243

I bought the sub board as well , still nothing , no power .

any other component I possibly overlooked?

I checked all the fuse , it was fine . I was also told that the dryer will still have display power on even the fuse go bad .

my last one is door switch or wires? Is there a diagram that I can check if door switch will affect the whole power circuit?
