new installation and first trials on sailboat ice box / top loading refrigerator. panasonic 800 btu compressor, danfoss tx valve with 00 orifice. custom copper evaporator box. the box will be maintained around 40F, no plans on making ice but expect the evaporator to keep goods colder than box.!
R134a readings this morning are... 90F ambient temp box temp 35F low side 10psi and high side is 155psi im still seeing bubbles in the sight glass... are my pressures ok or do i need to make adjustments.
yesterday in the heat of the day, ambient 115F the high side was at 220
update.... 12.30pm, ambient temp is 106 box temp 36, low side pressure is 15 psi and high side is 195 psi, still bubbles in sight glass..
my sight glass is in a vertical position, is that an issue, should it be laying flat...?
