ER code with S (stuck in spin cycle)

    Model Number: FAQE7077KWO
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: 1-5 years

I have just an ER code in green and a small S to the right in red. The dishwasher appears to be stuck in the spin cycle as those lights are also lit on the keypad. Turning off the breaker does not work to eliminate this error. In looking through other threads it appears I may need a new keypad. Could you offer any other opinions on how to fix this?

I am confused, the model number you posted is for a Frigidaire washing machine you seem to be asking about a dishwasher?

I am sorry, that is the wrong model number. I had a washer number also written down and I just copied the wrong one. I'll get that to you as soon as I can. Thanks.

In most cases we see a failure of the touchpad will cause this error to display, but it can also be caused by a failure of the main control board. Let us know what you find.

This is what the manufacture says about this error code:
ER Error Code: Membrane switch failure. Main control has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connections. If correct replace key pad. If still exist replace main control.
These are the parts for your model dishwasher:

    Touchpad Console Assembly - Part # PD00005242 (mfg # 807545704)

    Control Board - Part # PD00005351 (mfg # 154886103)

    Hi,
I have a Frigidaire dishwasher and it has a similar code:
    Washing
Drying both in red on the left
Er in green in the middle
Clean with an "S" under it on the right side
    Model number is FDB4315LFC0
    Thanks,

The same information as provided above also applies to your model dishwasher. Start by replacing the touchpad (keypad) and if that doesn't fix the problem you will also need to replace the control board. Let us know what you find.

These are the parts for your model dishwasher:

    Touchpad Control Panel - Part # PD00000424 (mfg # 154639208)

    Control Board - Part # PD00000407 (mfg # 154757002)
