    Whirlpool Duet STEAM DRYER

    Model Number: WGD95HEXW0
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: Less than 1 year

I just installed this new Whirlpool Duet Steam Dryer. It connects with the water inlet valve via a Y coupling with the washer. Anyways, after if was installed I could hear a drip drip sound. Later discovered water underneath it. Not the washer as it is in a pan and it was dry. Water is coming from under the Steam Dryer. I ended up shutting off the water to the dryer. What could be the cause?

First I would double check all of the hose connections to the dryer to make sure none of the connections behind the dryer are leaking. If those are good then the dryer will need to be taken apart to find what it leaking inside the dryer. If the dryer was purchased less than 1 year ago it should be covered under the manufactures warranty. I would give them a call to have them take a look at it. Let us know what you find as the cause of the problem.
