Model Number: FPCS3085LFB
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: 1-5 years
The setting: regular burners on left, induction on right
Was cooking sauce on front left burner, oven on and preheating to 500.
Set pan to be used in the oven down on right side of cooktop and poured sauce from skillet in. Returned skillet to burner (front left). Tried to turn burner on again to high - but NONE of the burners working. Removed everything from cooktop. Wiped off underside of skillet (just-in-case) and replaced on same front left burner. (The non-induction side.) Still can not turn any burner on. Signal for front left burner still shows HE (hot element).
Oven still working fine.
???????
This happened once last year - I think it is when multiple burners are on and I'm moving things around on the cooktop? I was frustrated and walked away - few days later tried again and it worked.
Is this a common problem with the Frigidaire? Or with Induction stove tops? Or with Ceramic Stove tops?
I have no warranty.
