Hi. I have a Frigidaire Affinity front load washer that I would like to replace the light that lights up the inside of the drum. I found a parts catalog here but I can't figure out how to remove or replace the light bulb. How does it come out?

In the PDF that you linked to the light is shown at the top center of page 6. It looks like to replace the light bulb you will need to unplug the washer, remove the front door seal clamp, peal back the door seal, and then pull out the light from the top side of the door gasket.

Thanks. Wow, that is pretty involved! Is this something my husband and I could do (we're pretty handy)?
The washer and dryer are stacked, would I need to unstack them to tackle it?

You shouldn't need to unstack them, but you should unplug the washer before working on it.
