[FIXED] GE Profile ice and water dispenser

Good afternoon.

My ge profile pfss6pkwbss is not dispensing water or ice. The unit is making ice, but it does not dispense ice or water. Makes no noises at all. I'm leaning towards the switch? Can you tell me how to test that.

Has good water pressure at the hose, again it is making ice.

Ok, I believe I figured out the door switch. It had three wires so I touched the contacts until I found two that gave me a zero reading and then pressed the switch which then went to infinity so I think the door switch is not the problem.

Is there a video or how to on how to open/remove or access the control panel so I can inspect that switch?

If someone else need to know how,

Remove the one Phillips screw, stick a small flat head screw driver in the little square hole on the bottom right and pull outwards. Make sure when you reinstall you put the left side tabs in first.

Turns out the little tab that holds the micro switch in place was broken? and the switch had moved. Super glued the tab back on, I have ice and water.

In case anyone else needs this part, it is part of the ice route case assembly. GE does not sell any of the pieces of this assembly separately.
