Samsung Washer hall sensor problems - 3E error again

Have a 3 yr old Samsung front load washer WF350ANP. Wondering if something could be causing hall sensor failures. Started getting 3E error code and failure to complete spin cycle in May 2015, changed hall sensor and worked fine until now. Its been almost 5 months and again getting 3E error and incomplete spin cycle. Go to restart washer and drum just twitches, won't spin. Have a new hall sensor on order again, but am wondering if I'm missing something here.

In this thread for a different model Samsung washer we had some people find that the cause of the error was a bad main control board.

Are you savvy enough to test the motor and hall sensor.
My Samsung top load was getting this error. On the back of the washer was a service manual that listed the testing procedures for the hall sensor and motor. Pretty much just included unplugging and testing the motor for resistance at the connector. The same for the hall sensor. Hopefully yours had the manual also. This test saved me the money of buying a motor and hall sensor when I really needed a main control board. Also I would check wiring harness to make sure something hasnt got bad connection.

I am having the same issue with the 3E, but my washer did not come with the manual. Is the testing procedure posted online anywhere?
