Unhappy gas dryer help Whirlpool Cabrio

    Model Number: wgd6200sw1
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 6-10 years

I am getting F1 error code. I have replaced the control board with a new one and still getting the same code. Dryer turns on, drum spins. Not staying hot or sensing that the clothes are wet. I have checked the fuse ( seems fine) and replaced moisture sensor as well. The trap is clean and so is vent. Any thoughts as to what could be wrong? Is there a re-set to re program the new board or should it just be a plug in and go? Advance thanks for any words of wisdom to help with troubleshooting.

The new board should be able to plug in and be ready to use. It sounds like the new part is most likely defective.
