Model Number: Adp9000ix
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 1-5 years
Hi,
I found this forum while on a search to fix my dishwasher. I've found a lot of info but nothing specific to this model.
It's 3 years old has has worked well to this point. I had the repair man out today and he hadn't worked on this model before. He said it looked like it wasn't filling with enough water. When he added some water it sounded much healthier.
The problem is he isn't confident on what's causing it. He said it could be the water valve or the water wheel that measures the amount of inlet water or the module.
If I replaced all these things it would be 90% of the machines value. If it was only one of these things it would be worth fixing.
Does this model have a common fault? Can any of these parts be tested individually?
I've checked the water flow from the hose at the back and that's fine.
Also the filter at the back of the machine is spotless.
Thanks, Mike.
