My front loader washer fills with water when not in use. It drains completely during spin. I changed the valve thinking it had gone bad, but it continues to fill when not in use? What is my next step?

Please post the model number from your washer.

The same thing is happening to my GHW9150PW0, however, I suspect it is not the water valve, as I turned off the water, ran a drain cycle, and the water still eventually appears. A very slow trickle eventually appears where water enters the washer from the opening at the top of the rubber door seal. Could this be an issue with the drain?
Thanks,
