Dryer won't start displays "clean lint filter"

    Model Number: DBVH512EF0WW
    Brand: GE
    Age: 6-10 years

My dryer will not start. The display shows clean lint filter. I have cleaned the lint filter and the vent hose. I took it apart and checked the 2 safety thermostats and both have continuity. What is the next thing to check?

    Thank you

I would start by checking the power supply to the dryer. The dryer needs 240v to operate correctly. I would also check the door switch to make sure that is working properly.
