Samsung dryer stopped heating and now stops running.

My Samsung dryer stopped heating two days ago. Decided to try running it again to see if it will start heating and now it stops running after two minutes on any setting, sensor or timed. Tried taking the hose off the back to see if it is airflow and stopped running after two minutes again. Any ideas on where else to start? Thank you.

Can you restart the unit right away after it shuts off?

If you have to wait then it is probably a motor overheating problem. The motors internal thermal protect trips and then you have to wait for the motor to cool down and the protect to reset.

Could be a problem with the centrifugal switches on the motor not activating.
On many dryers one of t6he switches turns on the heater to ensure that it does not come on until there is air flow.
The other switch switches out the motor's start winding which can cause the motor to overheat if left on.
