    Duet not heating up

    Model Number: GGW9200LW1
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 6-10 years

This Whirlpool Duet gas dryer does not heat I have taken the bottom panel off and can see that the burner does not come on.I checked the igniter and it has about 80 ohms or so.I have also checked the thermostat on the burner and it shows good. The drum turns. The thermistor seems flakey.Would the thermistor keep it from heating? Also should I change the coils? There is no voltage going to the igniter. Please help.

Have you checked the thermal fuses for continuity?

On some dryers the dryer will run but not heat when the thermal fuse blows. Have you checked the flame sensor on the side of the burner for continuity?
