    Question Water in basket donut Whirlpool Cabrio washer

    Model Number: WTW7800XW2
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 1-5 years

    I was in the process of replacing bearings on my Whirlpool Cabrio washer. When I pulled the basket out of the machine, there was a lot of water in the donut at bottom of basket. I don't think this water should have gotten in there . Is there any way to get the water out?

    From what you described this sounds normal. There are two balance rings on the inner basket of the washer to help it during the spin cycle to not get out of balance. See the attached image below.
