    May tag washer

    Model Number: MAV6260AWW
    Brand: Maytag
    Age: 6-10 years

My may tag washer washes good but when it comes to the spin cycle it drains but the clothes are still wet. I checked on to see if there was a clogged hose but there was not a clogged the belt seems ok its not broken to me its tight. The drum spins

Is there any standing water in the bottom of the washer when the cycle is finished? Can you tell if the washer is going through the final spin cycle?

Check the thrust bearing on the bottom of the washer, this is a common thing to fail that will cause the washer to spin slowly or not spin at all. Let me know what you find.

This is the thrust bearing kit for your washer:
