    Frigidaire Er-Uo Question

    Model Number: FGHD2433KB1
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: 6-10 years

    Hi All,

So my frigidaire is displaying a Er-Uo and wont start. Google says vent blower fan unit is bad. I take it off clean it, etc. Place it back on. Error not going away, fan running constantly when installed AND when unscrewed from the top and just left attached to electrical. I went and bought a replacement fan locally. They wont take it back if it its been installed, so being sneaky i just cut a hole in the bag big enough to attach wires. Fan immediately starts running. I cleared the error and tried to start a new cycle and got the same behavior. Cycle starts up, you can hear some water coming in for a few seconds then it shuts off with the Er-Uo error....fan still running in vent blower.

Am i correct and thinking this is a main board issue or does the vent fan actually need to be taken out of the bag and fully attached to the top of the dishwasher to get a true test. I would think that the default behavior for the fan would be not to be running when plugged in unless its in the drying cycle. Trying to avoid taking it out of the bag and losing $150 if I need to replace the main board too (ill just go buy a refurbed washer).

    Thanks for any advice.

I think you are going to have to actually in the part in the dishwasher for it to work correctly.
