No water

Dishwasher gets no water during cycle. Motor runs. checked water valve. Cracked solenoid coil and no continuity through coil. Replaced water valve. Still no water. checked for power to coil when motor is running and no power. Fill Switch? is OK with continuity check. Should water valve have power right away when motor starts or before? Where can I get a wiring diagram or can someone say what wrong? Control panel?

Most dishwashers fill with water at the beginning of the cycle before the circulation pump motor starts running. It could have a bad control board if it is not sending power to the water valve. Below is the wiring diagram for this dishwasher.
